Anticancer and antiviral peptides – Peptide Database
Bioinformatics is an amazing way of applying the power of computer and information technology to find out more about a set of biological data, this can discover new drugs, help to cure diseases and save lives!
Bicool lab offers an energetic, friendly environment for me to attach biological information to what I already know as an IT engineer. I joined the lab on Apr. 2016 and my current project concerns the anticancer/antiviral peptides data repositories. In this project, we are trying to explore the existing databases and data repositories on the mentioned peptides and somehow present a brief comparison; however, the ultimate goal here is to propose a fully-fledged peptide database.
